Reynaldo Lopez Placed On 15-Day Injured List

The Atlanta Braves placed pitcher Reynaldo Lopez (forearm) on the 15-day injured list on Monday due to right forearm inflammation. Lopez hasn't pitched since July 28, when he was removed early from his start against the New York Mets. The Braves expressed optimism that the right-hander would not need to go on the IL, but it appears the 30-year-old is still expressing some soreness. So, he will miss at least 15 days while he nurses his forearm injury. Fantasy managers who own Lopez should stash him in one of their IL slots. He owns a 2.06 ERA and 102 strikeouts across 104 2/3 innings pitched this season.
