6 months agoBaltimore Orioles designated hitter Renato Nunez (hamstring) was removed from the game on Sunday with tightness in his hamstring, but manager Brandon Hyde said Nunez should be OK. Consider him day-to-day for now. The 25-year-old Venezuelan is hitting a mediocre .246/.316/.479 but does have 28 home runs, 65 runs and 73 RBI on the season and has upside heading into future seasons. He was able to help those that started him on Sunday before leaving, recording two singles, a double, a run scored and three RBI in four plate appearances. There's a chance he could be ready to rock for the team's next game.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
