The Detroit Red Wings may have the worst record in the NHL this season to date but they’re now winners of two in a row after dumping the Montreal Canadiens by the score of 2-1 on Saturday night. Veteran defender Mike Green had two points, including the game-winning goal on the power play. Goaltender Jonathan Bernier was the true star of the game for Detroit as he faced 43 shots in total and allowed just a late, short-handed goal to former Red Wing Tomas Tatar, who is on pace for his second straight season with at least 50 points. The top Canadiens player may have been veteran defenseman Shea Weber, who recorded a point for the third straight game and also chipped in six shots on net to lead the team in that category.--Marc Hulet - RotoBallerRead More News
