The Boston Red Sox selected outfielder Braden Montgomery (leg) from Texas A&M University with the 12th overall pick in the MLB Draft. The 21-year-old is known for big power and became the highest-drafted player out of Texas A&M. He suffered a broken leg weeks before the draft and could make his pro debut sometime in 2025. Montgomery is a switch-hitter who is better from the left side of the plate but can hit to all fields from either side.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBaller
