Boston Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran has been promoted to Double-A Portland. The seventh-round pick in the 2018 draft was having no problems his first time facing High-A pitchers, slashing .387/.456/.543 with four home runs, 49 runs, 19 RBI and 18 stolen bases over 50 games. Duran's ability to get on base at a high percentage coupled with his blazing speed should make him a mainstay on a big league roster when he is ready to make the jump, and while the No. 9 prospect in the Boston system most likely won't arrive until the 2020 season at the earliest, dynasty league owners need to take notice.--Joseph MagazzinichRead More News
