Rasmus Sandin To Miss "Some Time" Following Sunday's Exit
8 months agoWashington Capitals defenseman Rasmus Sandin is expected to miss "some time" after he was injured on Sunday versus Ottawa. The Swedish blue-liner suffered an upper-body injury on a hard hit from Senators forward Parker Kelly. Sandin was limited to 7:09 of ice time on Sunday. The 24-year-old went scoreless for a seventh consecutive game, but he's done a decent job helping out on offense in general, with 23 points (three goals, 20 assists) amassed across 68 games. Sandin also boasts 75 hits and 106 blocks. Washington has five more games left in the regular season.
