5 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny continues to struggle to run in the NFL. Facing mostly second- and third-stringers, Penny only tallied 22 yards on eight carries, but one of those was a second-effort from a couple yards out to score a touchdown. Penny did show plenty of drive by making two big second pushes to accomplish things on runs that looked dead in the water from the get-go, but he was otherwise pretty inconsequential for the team. Chris Carson is clearly ahead of him on the depth chart, but he's also a big-time injury risk, so Penny could suddenly see himself in the big chair at any point. That said, C.J. Prosise and J.D. McKissick both looked good in this game and would be gunning for that spot as well.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
