Rashaad Penny Might Get Overlooked
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Rashaad Penny is No. 2 on the team's depth chart, but that doesn't mean much in head coach Pete Carroll's world. Penny was theoretically No.2 last season and was the team's first-round pick, but he regularly got passed by on game day with the team opting for a variety of other guys. Now, he's got C.J. Prosise to compete with. Prosise is usually injured, but he's surprisingly healthy at the moment and was electrifying in the preseason. It wouldn't be a shock if the team let Penny wallow on the bench while handing Prosise the ball whenever starter Chris Carson wasn't on the field. Seattle's coaches are just too unpredictable right now for fantasy owners to roll the dice on Penny.
