Rashaad Penny Makes Another Appearance
6 years agoSeattle Seahawks rookie running back Rashaad Penny got back in the mix this week after getting shut out against the Lions, and it wasn't just because starter Chris Carson left early. Penny made his first carry on the team's opening drive, showing that he was going to be included to some extent either way, but then Carson's absence allowed him to tack on a few extra touches. Penny still played second fiddle to Mike Davis, so there's no reason to suspect he'll be a central figure anytime soon, but it was nice to see him get to play a little. With Carson's injury history and Davis' history of being a mediocre back, Penny could still find his way into regular carries before the season ends.
