4 months agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia took full advantage of a doubleheader with San Francisco by smacking a pair of hits in each game on Monday. Tapia was a pinch-hitter that entered the first game for Trevor Story after he was pulled due to the contest being a blowout, and he went 2-for-2 with a solo shot. He started the second game and was the team's only player to record two hits in the low-scoring nightcap. Tapia is still firmly entrenched in the role of being the team's fourth outfielder, especially with two of the three regulars making the All-Star squad, but he's shown enough promise that he should be the obvious choice if anyone is sidelined with an injury.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
