6 months agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia was back at it again on Wednesday as he smacked two more singles, giving him five hits in the three-game Arizona series. Though he's officially the team's fourth outfielder, Tapia has racked up 385 plate appearances this season because if there's an outfield to be stuck behind, Colorado's is one of the best. With David Dahl constantly getting hurt and Ian Desmond continuing to play poorly, for years, Tapia has carved out a niche for himself as the dependable go-to who can play strong defense and make consistent contact at the plate. Hitting .290 with eight home runs and five stolen bases, Tapia isn't going to win any awards, but he's a valuable commodity in deep fantasy leagues.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
