Raheem Morris Lands Falcons Head-Coaching Job
11 months agoThe Atlanta Falcons are hiring Los Angeles Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris to be the organization's head coach. Morris spent three seasons as the Rams' defensive play-caller and was part of the 2021 staff that won the Super Bowl. Before his stint in L.A., he spent five seasons working under former Atlanta head coach Dan Quinn in four different roles. He held titles as the pass game coordinator, wide receivers coach, defensive coordinator, and interim head coach. The 47-year-old spent three seasons as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' head coach from 2009 to 2011, compiling a 17-31 record. Over a decade later, he's back at the helm of an NFC South squad.
