Quinton Byfield Tallies Three Helpers In Victory
Los Angeles Kings center Quinton Byfield tallied three assists during their victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday evening. Byfield tallied his first helper on Vladislav Gavrikov's goal in the opening frame. Later in the third, Byfield would tally two secondary assists, both on Kevin Fiala's goals to seal the victory. Byfield has tallied five helpers over his previous two contests. Before this recent surge, the former No. 2 overall pick has tallied just three points (two goals, one assist) over his last eight contests. Overall, Byfield has found the back of the net 11 times and added 17 helpers across 51 games. He remains a low-end option in deeper formats as he plays primarily on the third line. He will look to extend his point streak to three games on Friday evening against the Dallas Stars.
