Quinn Hughes Leads Late Surge, Lifting Canucks Over Oilers
5 years agoVancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes scored the game-winning goal Monday night as the Canucks defeated the Oilers 4-2. The goal came midway through the third period on the power play, with assists from J.T. Miller and Brock Boeser. Hughes snapped a three-game scoreless streak with the goal and now has 27 points in 37 games during his rookie campaign. He does not offer much in the way of production for the peripheral categories, however, limiting his value in certain leagues.
