Buffalo Sabres forward Jeff Skinner continued his torrid scoring pace, notching a power-play goal in the first period of Saturday's victory over the Red Wings. Skinner now has four goals in his last three games and 18 on the season, good for second-most in the league. He is rapidly approaching his goal total from last season (24), and even when his unsustainable 22.5 percent shooting percentage regresses, he will have a solid chance to match or exceed his career-high 37 goals in a season. Skinner is also boasting top-end shot totals, averaging 3.33 shots per game, and is on pace to match the 277 shots he recorded last season.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
