Ke'Bryan Hayes Extends Hitting Streak To 19 Games
Pittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes increased his hitting streak to 19 games on Monday. Hayes had the first hit of Monday's game with a line-drive single in the first inning of Pittsburgh's first game of the week against the Washington Nationals. The 19-game streak ties Hayes for the longest hitting streak by a rookie in Pirates history, dating back to 1900. The marker ties him with shortstop Kevin Newman, who strung 19 straight games worth of hits together in 2019. Obviously, Hayes is a must-start fantasy asset at the moment with high-end upside.
