Philipp Kurashev Ready For Season Debut
1 year agoChicago Blackhawks forward Philipp Kurashev (wrist) hopes to make his season debut Tuesday against Boston. He's been unavailable for the first six games due to a left wrist injury suffered in preseason. Kurashev had a career-high 25 points (nine goals, 16 assists) in 70 outings last season, and he should add a little bit of extra offense to a team that has so far averaged only 2.33 goals per game. Chicago's life is about to get tougher as well, with Taylor Hall (should) out and listed week-to-week. His absence could give Kurashev a shot in the top six, but he skated with the third line in Monday's practice.
