Philip Rivers Faces Another Stout Defense
5 years agoLos Angeles Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers will be going up against another stout defense on Sunday when he faces the Broncos for the second time this season. Rivers struggled badly in their first meeting, throwing two interceptions and zero touchdowns while averaging just 4.4 yards per completion. This time around figures to be another daunting challenge. While defensive star Von Miller is considered questionable, cornerback Chris Harris Jr. will be on the field and shadowing star receiver Keenan Allen once again. Harris dominated their first matchup, so it's likely that Rivers will have to go elsewhere for yards. Since he's thrown seven interceptions in the last two weeks, it doesn't look promising for him against Denver.
