7 years agoPhil Mickelson, who is 47 and currently ranked 41st in the official World Golf rankings, is defying his age tournament after tournament. He has had three consecutive top-six finishes in a row and enters the tournament as a 20/1 shot to win it all, alongside Justin Rose. His game fits any course, but the ability to still hit a 340-yard drive with a masterful short game while being one of the best putters in the world, puts him in prime position no matter who is in the field.
