Phil Mickelson is scheduled to tee it up at this week's Safeway Open. The veteran heads to Napa Valley fresh off an embarrassing showing at the Ryder Cup, where he went winless for a U.S. team that was dismantled by Europe. Mickelson showed flashes of his former greatness at different points in 2018, including picking up his first win in five years at the WGC-Mexico, but was not a factor in the major championships and struggled badly down the stretch of the season. If "Lefty" is going to get back on track, it might be this week at a Silverado North course where he has had success in the past. Mickelson logged a T3 last season and a T8 in 2017 at the Safeway. He carries a bloated DFS salary and is a huge gamble this week. --Joe Nicely - RotoBaller
