PGA Tour Player Grayson Murray Passes Away At 30
7 months agoTwo-time PGA Tour winner Grayson Murray passed away Saturday morning at the age of 30. Murray was competing in this week's Charles Schwab Challenge but withdrew late into his second round on Friday, citing an illness. Murray was a prodigious talent who was open about his struggles with depression, anxiety, and addiction. He won on the PGA Tour at just 22 years old in 2017 but struggled to stay consistent and found himself on the Korn Ferry Tour for the 2023 season, where he won twice last year. Murray appeared to have turned a corner both on and off the golf course when he was once again victorious on the PGA Tour at the Sony Open earlier this year. No details surrounding his cause of death have been made available at this time.
