Paul Stastny A Value Pick In Daily Formats
7 years agoWinnipeg Jets center Paul Stastny ended the season with 16 goals and 53 points in 82 games but only played in Winnipeg for 19 games. During his short tenure with Winnipeg, Stastny's line of Patrik Laine and Nikolaj Ehlers developed some great chemistry, combining for 21 goals and 42 points. Stastny is a very valuable postseason pivot, averaging 20 minutes of time on ice over 55 playoff games while collecting 14 goals and 21 assists no less. Stastny's age might cause owners to worry, but he has the added upside of playing on the man advantage on the league's fifth best power-play team. He should serve as a cheap late pick to round out your daily matchups or playoff lineups.
