Paul Sewald To Begin Rehab Assignment On Tuesday
8 months agoArizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Paul Sewald (oblique) is set to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Reno on Tuesday. The right-hander continues to work his way back from a Grade 2 left oblique strain that has sidelined him since the beginning of the season. The 33-year-old has been able to throw bullpen sessions without any issues. He should need a few rehab appearances before he's ready to return to the big league bullpen. Sewald should get the bulk of the saves once he's back. Fantasy managers who are in need of relievers or save might want to stash Sewald if he's available.
