Paul Goldschmidt Reaches Base Three Times On Wednesday
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt helped lead the team to a 5-2 victory over the San Diego Padres on Wednesday. He went 1-for-2 with two walks and two runs scored in the game. Goldschmidt was quite possibly the most lethal hitter in the majors throughout the month of May. He slashed .404/.471/.817 last month with 10 home runs, 33 RBI and 20 runs. Thanks to his dominant May, he now leads the majors with a 1.054 OPS and he's hitting .353/.429/.625 on the season.
