Paul Goldschmidt Has Tough Game 2 Test

St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Paul Goldschmidt will start and hit third in Game 2 of the NLCS. The slugger went 0-for-4 in Game 1 but is slashing .360/.407/.760 with two home runs and four doubles through 25 postseason at-bats. He will have a tough matchup, however, against the Nationals Max Scherzer in Game 2. In 25 career at-bats against Scherzer, Goldschmidt has only two hits and 14 strikeouts. The Cardinals struggled to generate offense to open the series and Goldschmidt will be a risky fantasy option in Game 2.
