Paul George Goes Off For 42 Points Against Memphis
2 years agoLos Angeles Clippers guard/forward Paul George had his second-best scoring night of the season Sunday against Memphis, finishing a 135-129 victory with 42 points on 12-for-23 shooting. He was 4-for-9 with the three-ball and went 14-for-15 at the foul line, adding 11 rebounds, three assists and one steal to his tally with three turnovers in 35 minutes. George has upped his scoring production to 27.2 points per game after the All-Star break, even when he has actually shot slightly worse from the field. With the Clippers in the midst of a fierce battle for playoff spots, the five-time All-Star should be highly motivated to perform at his very best for the rest of the way.
