5 years agoThe New England Patriots are not interested in signing the 2015 MVP quarterback, free-agent quarterback Cam Newton. The Pats seemed like a potential fit for Newton after Tom Brady departed for Tampa Bay this offseason. However, New England will move forward with Jarrett Stidham at quarterback and veteran Brian Hoyer behind him. Unfortunately, Newton hasn't been healthy in over a year due to severe shoulder and foot problems. It remains to be seen if Newton will land on an NFL roster, but it doesn't sound like New England will be his team. He's also looking to land a starting gig, and there just aren't any starting jobs available in the NFL at the position as of right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
