Detroit Red Wings right wing Patrick Kane (upper body) will miss Thursday's Original Six matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. The 2016 Hart Trophy winner will miss at least one game due to an upper-body injury. He is considered day-to-day. Kane recently turned back the clock, racking up six goals and 16 points over a 10-game span. He has amassed 30 points (11 goals, 19 assists) in 42 games across the season. With Kane out, Vladimir Tarasenko will move to the second line for Thursday's action. The Russian forward is not a recommended fantasy target, as he's having a disappointing campaign in Detroit, logging 19 points (nine goals, 10 assists) in 46 outings.--Taavi Pailk
