Chicago Blackhawks right wing Patrick Kane (lower body) won't be in the lineup on Friday against Arizona. He was hurt last weekend against San Jose and couldn't complete Tuesday's contest versus Tampa Bay because of a lower-body injury., so his absence on Friday doesn't come as a surprise. It's the first time since 2015 Kane misses a game due to an injury. It sounds like the injury is a minor deal and Kane actually skated Friday morning, but the Blackhawks are heading nowhere and there's no point in taking risks with Kane, who is a very valuable trade piece for the team. Lukas Reichel is set to replace the former MVP on the first line Friday. The 20-year-old has been hot in the AHL this season with 14 goals and 36 points in 34 appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
