Arizona Diamondbacks starter Patrick Corbin allowed one run on three hits and four walks while striking out seven in a no-decision against the Dodgers. Corbin was not very sharp in this one, as the four walks were a season high and he needed 96 pitches to labor through his five innings. His velocity was up to 90 MPH Wednesday, but it's still two MPH slower than we're accustomed to. The decrease in velocity is hurting the effectiveness of his slider, as the whiff rate of his best pitch was 16% over his last two starts, down from 33% in his first six. Hopefully it's something that Corbin can correct before his performance starts to slip too badly.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
