Patrick Beverley Returns To Action Tuesday

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Patrick Beverley has been given the green light to suit up for Tuesday's contest against the Knicks. Beverley had missed the team's three previous outings due to the league's health and safety protocols, with his return set to provide the team with some much-needed backcourt depth. The veteran has delivered solid production across six December outings, in which he has averaged 10.5 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.7 boards per contest. It remains to be seen how Beverley's return affects Jaylen Nowell in the wake of his breakout production Monday (29 points, six rebounds), while Jordan McLaughlin (10 assists in his last outing) is likely to see a downturn in usage.
