Patrick Beverley 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoLos Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley always seems to fall in drafts and as the season develops, Beverley always seems to be a hot waiver-wire add. So why not just draft Beverley? In previous seasons he has dealt with various injuries and other players ahead of him in the rotation early on in the season. This season’s outlook looks much different with the Clippers having just Beverley and Lou Williams at the point with Landry Shamet to possibly play some minimal minutes there. With saying this, the stat-stuffing skills of Beverley may be quietly moving up draft lists. Beverley posted 8.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.1 steals, 0.6 blocks and 1.8 makes from three and there is no reason why we do not see a line similar to this next year for Beverley after inking his three-year $40 million contract to stay in Los Angeles. If you see Beverley slipping in your drafts and need a rugged guard who will fill the box score on any given night, don't hesitate here.
