2 years agoPat Perez played his first U.S. Open in 2002, but will be making just his sixth ever start in the event when he tees off Thursday. Over his five previous starts, he has three missed cuts, with his only four-round finishes being a T40 and a T36. In the year's first major, the Masters, Perez missed the cut and then missed the cut again at the Players Championship. Given that those fields are some of the strongest of the year, just making it to the weekend feels like it would be an accomplishment for Perez.--Chris Mangano - RotoBaller
