Panthers Defense A Sneaky Option In Week 17
12 months agoThe Carolina Panthers defense struggled in a loss to the Green Bay Packers last week as they allowed 33 points while picking up just one sack and failing to force any turnovers. They will look to bounce back in a road matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 17. Normally the Panthers would not be a recommended option on the road against a decent offense but the Jaguars will be without QB Trevor Lawrence (shoulder), who was ruled out of action ahead of Week 17. The Jaguars will instead start C.J. Beathard against Carolina. The Panthers are not a recommended fantasy option in the championship round of the fantasy playoffs but they are on the board as a cheap option in DFS tournaments this weekend.
