4 years agoChicago Cubs catcher P.J. Higgins (forearm) has been placed on the 10-day injured list on Friday. He was serving as the backup catcher, but really struggled at the plate during his stint on the big league roster. Jose Lobaton has been recalled from Triple-A to take over as the backup for Willson Contreras. The veteran catcher will likely produce better offense than Higgins, but won't do enough to warrant rostering in fantasy formats.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
