Owen Wright Registers An Efficient Game In Preseason Debut
Owen Wright put together the most efficient game on the ground out of the team's backfield that played on Friday. In the 16-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Wright posted 33 yards on seven carries and one catch for 17 yards on three targets. The Ravens' offense as a whole didn't move the ball all that much as they ran for 82 yards total and hit the same exact mark through the air. Wright had a couple of explosive plays with his 17-yard catch-and-run, and a 12-yard gain on the ground. He finished second in total touches to the rookie Rasheen Ali. At this stage, it seems there's a competition for third-string back until Keaton Mitchell is healthy enough to play.
