Owen Power To Miss Rest Of Regular Season
Buffalo Sabres defenseman Owen Power (lower body) will be out of action for the remainder of the regular season. He suffered a lower-body injury on Saturday against the Tampa Bay Lightning and is sitting out a second consecutive game on Tuesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. "Don't really have a time frame yet, but it looks to be [serious]," Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff said about Power's injury. "We'll have more information, a further follow-up today and the next couple days." Power posted a career-high 40 points (seven goals, 33 assists) in 79 games with 139 shots and 109 blocks. In Power's absence, Jacob Bryson has rejoined the lineup.
