Owen Pickering Questionable For Friday's Action

Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Owen Pickering (illness) missed Thursday's practice and is questionable for Friday's game against Boston. The 20-year-old, who recently made his NHL debut, is battling an illness and might be absent for a second consecutive game. Before exiting the lineup Wednesday versus Vancouver, Pickering had skated in four consecutive games. He hasn't contributed a lot in his first few career outings, recording one assist, two shots, two blocks, and one hit. With Ryan Graves scratched for Wednesday's game, Ryan Shea and Jack St. Ivany rejoined the lineup. The two look set to continue on the third defensive pairing if Pickering doesn't feel well enough to play.
