New Jersey Devils left wing Ondrej Palat (undisclosed) will not play on Wednesday against the Detroit Red Wings. He suffered an undisclosed injury while blocking a shot in Tuesday's win over the Boston Bruins. According to Devils head coach Sheldon Keefe, Palat is still experiencing some soreness. However, the team expects it to be "something he can push through pretty quickly," so it looks like Palat could be available for the start of the postseason. The Czech veteran has made 150 appearances in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, scoring 51 goals and 100 points.--Taavi Pailk
