Nolan Gorman Selected 19th Overall By Cardinals
7 years agoThe St. Louis Cardinals have selected third baseman Nolan Gorman 19th overall in the MLB amateur draft. Gorman is a left-handed hitting third baseman coming right out of high school and is said to have some of the best raw power in the draft. He won the high school home run derby at the Under Armour All-American game. Gorman's offensive game has drawn comparisons to Corey Seager, and he has the potential to play elsewhere in the infield. Gorman has a very mature body for a his age and could be one of the fastest moving high school prospects selected in the draft.
