Nolan Arenado Launches 36th Homer
5 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado continued his climb back to 40 home runs by knocking out his 36th of the season on Monday in LA. Arenado was one of four Rockies to homer in the slugfest against the Dodgers, and the game raised his average to .311 while also pushing him to 107 RBI and 92 runs scored this year. Arenado's bump in batting average puts him at a new career-best, and he'll likely be a top-10 finisher in the MVP voting once again. It's starting to look like he might not bust through and ever take home the hardware, but he's a strong contender year-in and year-out. With him under contract in Colorado through 2026, he's on pace to go down as the greatest member of the team in history.
