Noah Dobson Heads To Injured Reserve
New York Islanders defenseman Noah Dobson (lower body) has been placed on IR due to an injury suffered on Monday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Dobson will be sidelined week-to-week, but his injury will not require surgery. The Islanders already have trouble scoring goals, so missing their powerplay quarterback and top offensive defenseman will hurt them all the more. In his absence, Ryan Pulock took over powerplay duties, but recently signed Tony DeAngelo could supplant Pulock once he gets more familiar with the team.
