New York Islanders defenseman Noah Dobson (lower body) is week-to-week. The team has announced that Dobson will not require surgery to fix a lower-body injury he sustained on Monday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. However, the squad will still need to spend a stretch without him. Dobson has tallied 24 points (six goals, 18 assists) in 46 games this season while averaging nearly two blocks per game. Scott Mayfield is set to replace Dobson as Alexander Romanov's partner in defense, with Dennis Cholowski grabbing his spot on the first power-play unit.--Taavi Pailk
