N’Keal Harry 2019 Player Outlook: Will Deliver A Productive Rookie Season
6 years agoThe 6’2” 230-pound N'Keal Harry has become the most likely candidate to lead this year’s rookie class in most major categories at the wide receiver position. He captured 213 receptions while accruing 2,889 yards and 22 touchdowns during his three seasons at Arizona State., which includes the output that he delivered in 2018 (73 receptions/1,088 yards/9 touchdowns/14.9 YPC). Harry has demonstrated his prowess for confiscating contested throws, and this ability to track passes that are launched in his vicinity combine with his size and competitive approach to provide a highly favorable blend of attributes. He also became the beneficiary of an opportunity to become an immediate contributor for a New England offense that is largely devoid of both dependable and dynamic receiving weapons, as Julian Edelman is the only Patriot receiver who is cemented into an integral role for the team. Harry can quickly emerge as productive presence for both the New England offense and the fantasy owners who select him. This justifies his current standing as the first overall selection in many rookie drafts. He should also exceed the current expectations of his eighth round ADP in redraft leagues.
