6 months agoSeattle Seahawks tight end Nick Vannett has been sidelined much of this week due to a lingering back injury, but head coach Pete Carroll told reporters on Friday that he expects Vannett to play on Sunday. Carroll seemed supremely confident as he told reporters that Vannett was out of practice Friday only for rest and said, "He's ready to go." Vannett isn't a huge threat in the passing game as he's more of a blocking tight end, but he sees 3-5 targets a game and could be used as a long shot for a touchdown. Those in bye week situations can take a gamble.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
