Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon tallied four points during their 5-4 victory over the Edmonton Oilers. MacKinnon opened the scoring by tallying his 21st goal of the season on the man-advantage in the first period. Later in that frame, MacKinnon added two primary assists on Cale Makar's and Artturi Lehkonen's goals. Then, in the third, MacKinnon added his third primary helper of the evening, this time to set up Martin Necas for the game-winner. This was MacKinnon's second-straight game, tallying at least three points. Over his previous 13 contests, the 29-year-old has totaled 19 points (six goals. 13 helpers). During this stretch, he has only been held off the scoresheet twice. MacKinnon will look to extend his multi-point streak in their next game, which will be after the international break on February 22 against the Nashville Predators.--Andy Smith
