7/3:Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi was solid Monday versus the Marlins. He went six innings, allowing two runs with five strikeouts. The effort was quite solid, though some had high hopes given the opponent as well as his strong last outing against a stronger Washington offense. He has started to re-establish himself after missing significant time from Tommy John surgery and then a surgery at the beginning of this season. Eovaldi can reach up to 100 mph with his fastball and has reportedly used all that time off to pick up hints on pitching. He is not a shallow league target but he has the potential to work his way into being a deep league option, especially in AL-only leagues.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller
