Myles Turner Approaches Double-Double in Loss to Blazers
6 years agoIndiana Pacers center Myles Turner was one rebound shy of a double-double on Monday against the Trail Blazers. Turner scored 10 points and snagged nine rebounds in the Pacers loss. He shot 5-for-12 from the field and struggled from the free-throw line, going 0-for-4 from the charity strike. He was solid on the defensive end, however, recording a steal alongside three blocks. Turner has yet to make the big strides that many were hoping for. He's averaging 12 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. Turner is one of the best shot blockers across the league but until he makes strides on the offensive side of the ball he won't be able on the same level as the top big-men in the league.
