Mitch Trubisky Out To Become "One Percent Better" Each Day
5 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky spoke to reporters on Thursday and spoke about what will be necessary to take the next step this season. "Get one percent better every day," Trubisky told reporters. "I think that's how you separate yourself in the long run." The third-year quarterback made strides lasts season, compiling 27 total touchdowns while posting a 95.4 QB rating. Consistency this season will be key for Trubisky, who threw for 300-plus passing yards in four games last season but also threw multiple interceptions in four games. "I know I haven't played my best football yet," said Trubisky. Whether that manifests itself this season could be the difference between Trubisky becoming a true QB1 in fantasy or just a matchup-based option.
