6 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger scored the game-winning run and then made a game-saving catch in the Mariners 3-2 win over the Yankees on Sunday. Haniger is hitting only .194 through 31 September at-bats but helped the team win with his legs and glove. Haniger has been one of the more consistent offensive forces on the Mariners this season and is enjoying a strong finish to his season since being moved to the leadoff spot. Haniger for the season is slashing .275/.361/.484 with three triples, 24 home runs, 32 doubles, 75 runs scored and 85 runs driven in.
